WhatsApp’s New Feature for Sending Photos and Videos

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature aimed at making it easier to send photos and videos in chats. This update is being rolled out for beta users.

The feature allows users to view stored photos and videos directly from the chat bar, without opening the camera.

Instead of using the camera by default, users can now tap on a new gallery icon to quickly access their phone’s gallery content.

This makes it much more convenient for users to manage and send multiple photos and videos.

New Interface for Faster Media Sharing

In the latest WhatsApp beta update (version 2.24.24.9), there is a new interface for selecting photo and video albums.

With this updated gallery sheet, users can quickly select many photos and videos at once, making the process of sending albums much easier.

Previously, users had to select one item, which would open in a drawing editor before they could select additional media.

The new update skips the drawing editor, speeding up the media sharing process.

Additionally, WhatsApp has added a new button that allows users to send photos and videos in high quality without opening the editor.

Adding Captions and Managing Albums

WhatsApp has also improved the way users can add captions to albums. In the past, users had to write separate captions for each photo or video.

Now, with the new feature, users can add a single caption for an entire set of photos and videos.

Furthermore, the company has enhanced how album details are displayed in the chat list, allowing users to see more items from the album directly in the list.

This update is currently available for beta testers, and the stable version will be released to all users soon.
