New Visa-on-Arrival Policy for Indian Travelers

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a new benefit for Indian travelers.

Indian citizens with a valid residence permit or visa from the United States (USA), United Kingdom (UK), or any European Union (EU) country can now get a visa on arrival in the UAE.

This visa allows eligible travelers to stay for 14 days, with the option to extend it to 60 days if needed.

This change aims to strengthen the growing cooperation and business relations between India and the UAE.

Requirements for Visa-on-Arrival

To obtain the visa on arrival, Indian travelers must have the following:

1) A United States green card, residence permit, or valid visa.

2) A valid residence permit or visa from any EU country or the UK.

3) A passport that is valid for at least six months.

Visa Extension: If travelers want to stay longer than 14 days, they can extend their visa to 60 days by paying a fee.

Impact of the New Policy

This policy is especially beneficial for Indian citizens traveling to the UAE for business, tourism, or personal reasons.

With over 3.5 million Indians living in the UAE, this new policy is expected to boost travel and business opportunities.

Key Information for Travelers

1) The visa-on-arrival facility will be available at all entry points (airports and ports) in the UAE.

2) Previously, this facility was limited to Indian citizens with residence permits; now, it is open to anyone with a valid visa from the specified countries.

This visa-on-arrival policy makes traveling easier for Indian citizens and will further enhance the strong trade and cultural ties between India and the UAE.
