Mahindra has introduced a new special edition of its popular Scorpio SUV, called the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition. This edition is based on the Scorpio Classic model.
On the outside, the Boss Edition comes with dark chrome styling, black seat upholstery, a front bumper extender with a silver skid plate,
and a dark chrome-finished grille. Additional dark chrome accents are seen around the bonnet scoop, fog lamps, door handles, headlights, and taillights.
Dual-Tone Black Theme and Added Accessories
The Scorpio Classic Boss Edition features a dual-tone black theme. It also comes with extra accessories like a door visor, a blackout rear bumper protector,
and carbon-fiber-finished ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors). The interior maintains the same dual-tone black
and beige dashboard found in the standard Scorpio Classic, but with new all-black seat upholstery.
Many car companies, including Mahindra, tend to release special editions during the festive season.
Engine and Features Remain the Same
The Boss Edition is powered by the same 2.2-liter diesel engine found in the current Scorpio Classic, producing 132 PS of power
and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. There are no changes to the mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
In terms of features, it comes equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen, automatic AC, and cruise control.
Safety features include dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, and a rear parking camera.
Pricing Yet to be Announced
Mahindra has not yet revealed the price of the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition.
The regular Scorpio Classic is available in two variants: the Classic S, priced at Rs 13.62 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Classic S11, priced at Rs 17.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is expected that the Boss Edition will be priced slightly higher. This new edition could be a great choice for buyers during the Diwali season, and Mahindra will announce the prices soon.
