JSW MG Motor has launched two new special edition SUVs just in time for the festive season.
The new models are the Hector Snowstorm and Astor Blackstorm editions, which follow the special edition of the Gloster SUV released in June.
The Hector Snowstorm is priced at Rs 21.53 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Astor Blackstorm edition costs Rs 13.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
This is the first time MG has offered a Snowstorm edition for its popular Hector SUV.
Pricing and Variants
The MG Hector and Astor already have various special edition models.
The Hector Snowstorm edition is priced up to Rs 23 lakh, making it the highest-priced variant in the lineup. Other Hector variants start at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Astor SUV already includes a Blackstorm edition, and a more affordable version may be released with this launch.
The special edition comes in two variants: Select MT and Select CVT, with the Blackstorm edition priced up to Rs 14.46 lakh (ex-showroom).
Other Astor variants, which compete with vehicles like the Hyundai Creta and Seltos, range from Rs 9.98 lakh to Rs 18.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
Features of MG Hector Snowstorm
The Hector Snowstorm Edition, MG Motor’s top-selling model in India, features a new exterior color scheme.
It sports a dual-tone design with a white body and black roof, dark chrome accents on the logo and the Hector name,
and a striking front grille. The SUV has 18-inch alloy wheels with a full black finish and red brake calipers.
Inside, the Hector Snowstorm has an updated cabin color theme with gun metal accents.
It is equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, among other features.
Features of MG Astor Blackstorm
The Astor Blackstorm edition includes cosmetic upgrades compared to the standard model. It features an all-black exterior, with black accents on the grille, headlights, and bumper.
The alloy wheels also have a black finish, complemented by red brake calipers at the front.
Inside, the Astor Blackstorm Edition has a reimagined theme with Tuxedo Black upholstery and red stitching.
The front seats have “Blackstorm” embossed on them. The AC vents have Sangria Red accents,
and the steering wheel and door trims also feature contrasting red stitching. Additionally, MG Motor includes a JBL speaker system in this special edition SUV.
