Bengaluru :
Samsung has given its customers a great gift by making its AI features free until 2025. Eligible users will not have to pay for these features.
This initiative aims to improve the user experience by allowing them to do more with their phones using AI-based tools.
The announcement came with the launch of Galaxy AI alongside the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
The Galaxy AI features include real-time audio or text translation and internet searches by drawing circles.
These features will remain free until the end of 2025. However, starting in 2026, there may be charges for using Galaxy AI.
Possible Subscription Plans in 2026
Although not confirmed, Samsung might introduce a paid subscription called “Galaxy AI+” in 2026. Basic Galaxy AI features may continue to be free, similar to how other companies operate.
Many AI-based virtual assistants, like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google’s Gemini, were initially free but later introduced paid subscriptions.
