Kia India has introduced the 2024 iteration of its popular MPV, the Kia Carens, in the Indian market, offering updated features and new variants.
With prices starting from Rs 10.52 lakh (ex-showroom),
the latest Carens aims to cater to diverse consumer preferences, including diesel engine options and seating configurations.
New Variants and Features:
The 2024 Kia Carens lineup now includes the introduction of diesel manual transmission variants, expanding the total number of variants from 23 to 30.
Notably, the Prestige+ (O) variant receives upgrades such as a sunroof, LED map lamp, and room lamp, along with options for both 7-speed DCT and 6-speed AT gearbox configurations.
Additionally, the Prestige (O) variant boasts enhancements like a leatherette-wrapped gear knob, smart-key with push-button start, LED rear combination lamp, LED DRL, and positioning lamp.
This variant is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater options, providing versatility to consumers.
Enhanced Premium Features:
The Premium (O) variant of the 2024 Kia Carens now offers keyless entry, an 8-inch D/audio system, shark fin antenna, steering wheel-mounted remote control,
and a burglar alarm, further enhancing the driving experience and convenience for users.
Moreover, Kia India has upgraded all Carens variants with a more powerful 180W smartphone charger,
replacing the previous 120W charger.
Market Performance:
Since its initial launch in 2022, the Kia Carens has garnered significant success, with over 1.5 lakh units sold.
Positioned as a premium alternative to models like the Maruti Ertiga, the Carens continues to attract consumers seeking a blend of style, performance, and utility in the MPV segment.
As Kia continues to refine its offerings to meet evolving consumer demands,
