Vodafone-Idea starts its 5G Service in THESE Cities

Good news for Vodafone-Idea customers! The company has begun its 5G service in certain parts of Delhi and Pune.

You can find this information on the company’s official website. But Vodafone Idea has not officially announced any statement yet.

According to the website, users can enjoy high-speed internet using a 5G-ready SIM.

In the Indian Mobile Congress’s seventh edition, Kumar Mangalam Birla, the promoter of Vodafone Idea, shared that the Vodafone Idea team worked extensively on the core network for the 5G launch last year.

In the next quarter, the company plans to introduce 5G and invest significantly in this initiative.

The number of users is going down

The number of people using Vodafone Idea is going down because the company couldn’t start 5G service as quickly as Airtel and Jio.

As per TRAI data, in July 2023, VI had 228 million subscribers, and the company earned Rs 142 on average per user in the quarter ending September.

Airtel, which leads the industry, had an average revenue of Rs 203 per user. ARPU stands for average revenue per user.

Vodafone Idea is trying hard to keep its users, and the company has introduced various plans and offers to do so.

VI showcased all this in IMC 2023

During the recent IMC2023 event, Vodafone Idea presented technologies like IoT, 5G, Cloud, and more.

This included things like Vi C-DOT IoT Lab, Smart Connectivity Test Bed, Vi AirFiber, Vi Games, Cloud Play, VR Games, and XR Edutech. Most of these solutions from Vi are built on the 5G network.
