Vodafone Idea launches affordable Rs 45 Recharge Plan with 180-Day Validity

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has recently introduced an economical recharge plan priced at just Rs 45. This new plan comes with an extended validity of 180 days, equivalent to approximately 6 months.

Compared to existing plans offered by other telecom operators, Vi’s Rs 45 plan provides unmatched validity at an affordable price.

Vi has launched a special Rs 45 plan specifically for missed call alerts. This plan remains valid for a period of 180 days, ensuring uninterrupted service for about 6 months.

Although this plan solely provides missed call alert notifications without calling and data services, it allows you to identify who called you even when your phone is out of coverage area.

To enjoy calling and data services, an additional plan needs to be charged alongside this missed call alert plan.

Vodafone Idea in 5G Race

While Jio and Airtel have surged ahead in the 5G race in India, Vodafone Idea is yet to launch its 5G services.

However, the company is actively working on improving its 4G prepaid plans by introducing new offerings to ensure its customers remain connected.

With this objective in mind, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has recently unveiled new plans, including a separate plan for missed calls.

Separate Plans for Missed Call Service

Most telecom companies usually charge for missed call services, deducting the necessary amount from your data plan. Therefore, there’s no need to recharge separately for this service.

However, in certain cases, companies also provide dedicated recharge plans for missed call services. Vodafone Idea is now offering this service as a separate plan to cater to its customers’ needs.

Vodafone Idea Prepares for 5G Launch

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio, two of the leading telecom companies in India, launched their 5G services in October of the previous year, benefiting their users. Now, Vodafone Idea (Vi), the third major player, is gearing up for its 5G rollout.

It was recently revealed that Vodafone Idea is in the process of securing funding to facilitate the launch of its 5G services, and users can expect to experience the company’s 5G connectivity as early as June this year.

Vi will directly compete with Airtel and Jio in the 5G space.

Vi in Talks with Nokia for 5G Equipment

According to reports, Vi is currently in discussions with Finnish tech company Nokia regarding the procurement of 5G equipment.

Vi is likely to seek Nokia’s assistance in setting up its 5G network infrastructure.

Our Thoughts

For ₹45 recharge plan, It is just for Missed call alert Facility. If you do not have any other plan than this plan will not help you. This plan should be recharged above other regular plans.

About Vodafone’s place in 5G Race, the telecom company is not far behind. If they can manage to start their operations within 3-4 months than they will surely be in position to give tough competition to Jio and Airtel.
