Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched a new long-term prepaid recharge plan for its customers in India.
The new plan is priced at Rs 2,475 and comes with a validity of 180 days. This means users won’t need to recharge again for nearly six months.
The new plan offers long validity along with unlimited voice calling, daily SMS benefits, and unlimited data access. It is designed for users who prefer fewer recharges and need a reliable long-term plan.
What Does Vi’s Rs 2,475 Prepaid Plan Offer?
Vi’s new Rs 2,475 prepaid plan comes with a service validity of 180 days. Users get unlimited local, STD, and national roaming voice calls on all networks across India.
Apart from calling benefits, the plan also includes 100 SMS per day. This makes it suitable for users who regularly use calling and messaging services.
Unlimited Data Comes With a Condition
The biggest attraction of this plan is its unlimited data benefit. However, there is an important condition that users should know before recharging.
According to Vi’s Commercial Usage Policy, customers can use up to 300GB of high-speed data every 28 days. After reaching this limit, internet speed and usage will be managed under the company’s Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
This rule applies to both Vi’s 4G and 5G networks. Even if 5G service is available in your area, the same 300GB high-speed data limit will remain applicable.
Who Should Buy This Plan?
Vi’s Rs 2,475 prepaid plan can be a good option for users who do not want the hassle of frequent recharges.
It is also suitable for people who use the internet heavily for work from home, online classes, video streaming, gaming, and social media.
If you are looking for a long-validity prepaid plan with calling, SMS, and high data usage benefits, Vi’s new 180-day plan could be worth considering.
