The UK government has opened the second and final ballot for the India Young Professionals Scheme (YPS) Visa 2026.
Under this scheme, eligible Indian citizens can live, work, and study in the UK for up to two years without first securing a job.
Ballot registration begins on July 21, 2026, and interested candidates must register within the given time to be considered for the visa.
Ballot Registration Dates
According to the UK government’s latest update, the ballot registration window will remain open from July 21 to July 23, 2026.
After the registration period ends, a lottery will be conducted to select successful applicants.
Only those chosen through the ballot will be invited to apply for the visa.

Who Can Apply?
Before registering, applicants should make sure they meet all the eligibility conditions.
To qualify for the India Young Professionals Scheme, you must:
Be an Indian citizen.
Be between 18 and 30 years of age.
Meet the required educational qualification.
Have at least £2,530 (around ₹3.25 lakh) in personal savings.

The UK government has clarified that ballot registration is free.
However, candidates selected in the ballot must pay a £340 visa application fee when submitting their visa application.
Only 3,000 Visas Available
The UK plans to issue 3,000 visas to Indian citizens under the India Young Professionals Scheme.
Most of these visas were already allocated during the first ballot held in February 2026.
The remaining visas will be offered through this final ballot in July.
Each applicant can register only once for the ballot.
Those selected must submit their visa application within 90 days of receiving the selection email.
