Indian citizens living in the UAE should take note of an important update. Passport, visa, and document attestation services will remain temporarily unavailable from June 26 to June 30, 2026 due to a change in service providers.

People planning to apply for these services during this period may need to complete their work before the deadline or wait until services resume in July.

New Service Provider to Take Charge from July 1

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced that Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC will become the new provider of Indian consular services in the UAE from July 1, 2026.

The company will handle passport, visa, and document attestation services for Indian citizens. The temporary suspension is part of the transition process to the new system.

The Embassy has advised people to follow only official updates and avoid relying on rumors or unofficial sources.

No New Applications After June 25

Current service providers BLS International and SGIVS Global will stop accepting new applications after the close of business on June 25, 2026.

BLS International currently manages passport and visa services, while SGIVS Global handles attestation services.

As a result, regular appointments and application submissions will not be available between June 26 and June 30.

Emergency Services Will Continue

There is some relief for people facing urgent situations. During the five-day transition period, emergency passport, visa,

and attestation services will continue through the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai.

Applicants with urgent requirements can seek assistance through official helplines, WhatsApp services, and email support.

New Online Appointment Portal Coming Soon

Along with the new service provider, a new online appointment portal will also be launched on July 1, 2026.

After the launch, applicants will be able to book appointments and submit applications through the updated system.

Officials have urged Indian citizens in the UAE to check only the Embassy’s official website and social media channels for the latest information and service updates.
