In a bid to make Twitter even more dynamic, the social media giant has recently undergone a rebranding, and now, there’s more exciting news.

Known for his innovative approaches, Musk demonstrated the improved live video capabilities with a humorous video of himself experimenting with Magnet Live Video while casually chatting with his team.

How to Use Twitter’s Enhanced Live Video: Step-by-Step Guide by Elon Musk

Users can now easily start a live video on Twitter’s new platform, codenamed “X,” by simply tapping on the camera icon.

Elon Musk took to Twitter to showcase the new feature, providing a simple guide to initiate live video streams. To begin, open the Twitter app and click on the camera icon from the composer.

Then, select “Live” at the bottom selector and add a description. Afterward, tap on “Go Live,” and your live video will appear as a tweet on your timeline as well as your followers’ timelines.

New Twitter Live Video Feature Allows Users to Control Audience Access

Elon Musk also highlighted another notable aspect of the enhanced live video feature: users can now control who views and comments on their live videos.

If you prefer to restrict access to certain individuals, you can easily do so. Simply tap on a user’s comment, access their profile, and click on the gear icon.

From there, you can choose the “Block Users” option, which prevents the selected account from viewing or commenting on your live video.

The block can remain in effect for as long as you wish, giving you more control over your live broadcasts on Twitter’s platform.
