State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced several new AI-powered digital services to make banking faster and more convenient.
The new features were launched on the bank’s 71st Bank Day and are now available through the YONO and YONO Business platforms.
The latest update allows customers to open multiple accounts digitally, access AI-powered assistance, and use new tools to manage their finances more efficiently.
Open Savings, Demat and Trading Account Together
One of the biggest updates is a 3-in-1 digital account opening facility.
New customers can now open a Savings Account, Demat Account, and Trading Account in a single online process through SBICAP Securities Ltd.
This removes the need for separate applications and makes investing easier for first-time users.
Eligible customers can also convert their regular savings account into a corporate salary account or upgrade an existing salary account online without visiting an SBI branch.
YONO Now Shows Your Green Score and Financial Fitness
SBI has added an industry-first Sustainability Journey feature on the YONO app.
This feature allows customers to see how much carbon emission they have helped save by using digital banking services.
Users will also receive a monthly Green Score based on their digital banking activities.
Another new feature is the Financial Fitness Score, which gives customers a complete view of their savings, loans, investments, insurance, and spending habits in one place.
The goal is to help users better understand and manage their finances.
New Features for Business Customers
SBI has also upgraded YONO Business by adding its complete Trade Finance services to the mobile platform.
Corporate and MSME customers can now view, track, and approve inland, import, and export trade finance transactions directly from their smartphones.
This is expected to speed up decision-making and improve business operations.
AI Assistant Available 24×7
The bank has also introduced YONO Ji, an AI-powered virtual assistant that is available round the clock on both the web and mobile versions of YONO Business.
The virtual assistant can answer questions related to banking products, platform features, and customer services, helping users get quick support without waiting for manual assistance.
According to SBI Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, these new services reflect the bank’s focus on using Artificial Intelligence and digital technology to make banking simpler, smarter, and more accessible for customers across the country.
