Samsung Introduces New Galaxy M56 5G in India

South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its latest smartphone, the Galaxy M56 5G, in the Indian market.

This new phone comes with a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 12MP front camera for selfies.

One of its highlights is its slim design—just 7.2mm thick—making it thinner than the previous Galaxy M55 5G, which was 7.8mm thick.

It also features 36% thinner bezels and a display that is 33% brighter than its predecessor.

Key Features and Specifications

The Galaxy M56 5G is a mid-range smartphone and an upgraded version of the Galaxy M55 5G.

It has a 6.73-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

The phone runs on an octa-core processor and uses Samsung’s One UI 7 software based on Android 15.

For photography, it offers a 50MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens.

The front camera is 12MP. It has a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging.

Additional features include 5G support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, and USB Type-C port.

Samsung is offering a special discount on the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Galaxy M56 5G.

The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon and Samsung India’s online store.

Customers using HDFC Bank cards will get an additional ₹3,000 discount. The sale begins on April 23 at 12 noon.
