There is good news for people dreaming of owning a home in Lucknow.

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to launch two major township projects that will offer more than 3,100 residential plots through an online registration process.

The move is aimed at meeting the growing demand for housing while supporting the planned expansion of the city.

Plots Available for Every Budget

The plots will be offered under the “Varun Vihar” and “Naimish Nagar” housing schemes.

One of the biggest highlights of these projects is the wide range of plot sizes available.

Buyers can choose plots ranging from 72 square metres to 450 square metres, making the schemes suitable for both small and large homebuyers.

All plots will be allotted through a transparent online lottery system.

Varun Vihar to Become LDA’s Largest Township

Varun Vihar is being developed along the Agra-Lucknow Expressway across nearly 6,580 acres.

According to officials, the township is expected to accommodate around 3.5 lakh residents in the future.

The project is not limited to housing alone.

The master plan includes a large central park, a world-class golf course, and a logistics park spread over nearly 300 acres.

Apart from this, dedicated spaces have been planned for healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and industrial development, making it a complete urban township.

Naimish Nagar to Boost Development in North Lucknow

The Naimish Nagar project is being developed on around 3,600 acres along the IIM Road-Sitapur Road corridor in North Lucknow.

The township will be built on land located in villages under BKT tehsil.

Over the past few years, this area has witnessed rapid development due to improved connectivity and the presence of reputed educational institutions.

With modern infrastructure and plenty of green spaces, the project is expected to attract both homebuyers and investors.

Wide Roads and Modern Facilities Planned

Unlike many private housing projects, LDA plans to develop a well-organized road network in both townships.

The master plan includes roads ranging from 18 metres to 45 metres in width.

Residents will also get access to modern drainage systems, sewer networks, and reliable electricity supply from the beginning.

Who Can Apply?

As per government rules, applicants must be residents of Uttar Pradesh.

Additionally, the applicant or their family members should not already own a residential property in Lucknow or be beneficiaries of any government housing scheme in the city.

The entire registration process will be conducted online. Interested buyers can apply through the official LDA website within the specified registration period and take part in the lottery-based allotment process.
