In urban areas where land is scarce, multi-story housing complexes will be constructed.

The Ladli Behna Awas Yojana aims to provide houses to families not covered under Pradhan Mantri Awas or Awas Plus schemes.

Who Can Benefit from the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana?

This new housing scheme is expected to benefit over 4.75 lakh eligible families who were previously excluded from various housing schemes.

The program is designed to provide permanent housing to underprivileged families from all sections of society.

Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, Mahendra Singh Sisodia, emphasized that this initiative will provide deserving women and families living in inadequate housing with their own secure homes.

To avail of the scheme’s benefits, applicants need to provide essential documents such as the Samagra ID, Aadhaar Number, Bank Account details, MNREGA Job Card (if available), and Ladli Behna Scheme Registration Number (only for Ladli Sisters).
