The “Showers of the Sahyadris” package covers Kolhapur, Mahabaleshwar and Pune in a 6-day, 5-night trip.
The journey will start from Hyderabad and include flights, hotel stays and local sightseeing.
When Does the IRCTC Tour Start?
The tour will begin from Hyderabad on September 27, 2026.
Travellers will fly from Hyderabad to Kolhapur on an IndiGo flight.
For sightseeing and transfers during the trip, AC transportation will be provided.
The return journey will be from Pune to Hyderabad on October 2, 2026.
Flight Schedule
September 27: Flight departs Hyderabad at 11:20 AM and reaches Kolhapur at 12:45 PM.
October 2: Flight departs Pune at 10:25 PM and reaches Hyderabad at 11:40 PM.
What Will You See During the 6-Day Trip?
The tour begins in Kolhapur, where travellers will be taken to their hotel after arriving at the airport.
The first two nights will be spent in Kolhapur.
On the third day, the group will leave Kolhapur for Mahabaleshwar, which is around 190 km away.
En route, travellers will get a chance to visit the popular Mapro Strawberry Garden.
The night will be spent at a hotel in Panchgani.
Day 4: Explore Mahabaleshwar
After breakfast, the tour will cover some of Mahabaleshwar’s popular attractions.
These include the Mahabaleshwar Temple and Elephant Head Point.
Travellers will return to Panchgani for another overnight stay.
Day 5: Head to Pune
On the fifth day, the group will leave Panchgani and travel to Pune, where the final night of the tour will be spent at a hotel.
The journey will conclude the following day with the return flight from Pune to Hyderabad.

What Will You Have to Pay Extra?
Some expenses are not included in the package.
Travellers will have to pay for in-flight meals, additional lunches, entry fees for temples or monuments and tips for guides or drivers.
The cost of travelling from your home to Hyderabad Airport will also have to be paid separately.
In some places, large buses cannot reach temples because of narrow roads.
Travellers may therefore have to pay separately for local transport such as auto-rickshaws.
How Much Does the Tour Cost?
You don’t have to pay the entire amount upfront to confirm your booking.
IRCTC allows travellers to pay 30% as a booking amount, while the remaining 70% must be paid before the trip begins.
The package price is:
Single traveller: ₹52,500
Two or three people: ₹36,600 per person
For triple-sharing rooms, an additional mattress will be provided.

Travellers should carefully check the cancellation policy before making a booking.
If the trip is cancelled:
Within 21 days: 30% deduction
15 to 21 days before travel: 55% deduction
8 to 14 days before travel: 80% deduction
7 days or less before travel: No refund
Important Rules for Seniors and Children
Travellers above 75 years of age must be accompanied by a younger member.
For children between 2 and 11 years, proof of age will be required.
Children above 11 years will be charged the full fare.
