IndiGo has completed 20 years of operations, and the airline is celebrating the milestone with a special offer for its passengers.
As part of the anniversary celebration, IndiGo has announced 20,000 potential fare refunds for eligible domestic flight bookings.
Selected passengers can get a refund of up to ₹10,000 on their ticket fare.
However, there is an important catch — the refund is not guaranteed for everyone.
Winners will be selected randomly from eligible bookings.
Who Can Participate in the IndiGo Offer?
The offer applies to eligible domestic flight bookings made between August 4 and August 6, 2026.
Passengers must make their booking through one of IndiGo’s official platforms:

Both one-way and round-trip domestic bookings are eligible.
The offer is also available for both Economy Class and IndiGoStretch bookings.
How Will the Winners Be Selected?
Passengers who make eligible bookings during the offer period will automatically be considered for the random selection, according to IndiGo.
Selected passengers will be contacted through email and WhatsApp.
They will then have to answer a simple question.
Each selected passenger will get three chances to provide the correct answer.
If they answer correctly, they can receive a fare refund of up to ₹10,000 for the relevant PNR.
IndiGo says the refund will be processed within 3 to 5 working days.
Booking a Ticket Does Not Guarantee a Refund
Passengers should keep in mind that this is a limited-period promotional offer.
Simply booking a domestic flight during the offer period does not mean that the passenger will definitely receive a refund.
The winners will be chosen randomly from eligible customers, so only selected passengers will benefit from the offer.
IndiGo Completes 20 Years in Indian Aviation
IndiGo began its commercial operations on August 4, 2006, with its first flight operating on the Delhi–Guwahati–Imphal route.
Two decades later, the airline has grown into India’s largest airline by capacity.
IndiGo currently accounts for around 51% of India’s aviation capacity, highlighting the airline’s significant presence in the domestic aviation market.
