Weather patterns across India are changing rapidly. While some regions are facing intense heat, others are getting relief from clouds and rain. With April already halfway through and school exams over, many families are planning vacations.
But unstable weather conditions could affect travel plans. Sudden rain or extreme heat may disrupt trips, so checking the weather forecast before planning is very important.
Delhi Faces Rising Heat and Humidity
People in Delhi are dealing with hot and humid conditions. On Monday, the maximum temperature is expected to stay between 39°C and 41°C, while the minimum may range from 20°C to 22°C. The sky will remain partly cloudy.
According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures are slightly above normal. Winds will blow at around 15 km/h in the morning, slowing down to about 10 km/h by evening, offering little relief from the heat.
Heatwave Alert in Uttar Pradesh
The situation is getting tougher in Uttar Pradesh as well. In Lucknow, temperatures have already crossed 40°C and may reach up to 42°C in the coming days.
A heatwave alert has been issued for cities like Varanasi, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur, and Deoria. People are taking precautions such as staying indoors during peak hours and keeping themselves hydrated.
Rain and Storms Expected in Several States
There are signs of weather changes in Maharashtra. Coastal areas may receive light rain along with strong winds between April 19 and 21.
In Central Maharashtra and Marathwada, thunderstorms and winds of 30 to 40 km/h are likely until April 23.
At the same time, states like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may experience light rain between April 19 and 22. Southern states including Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala,
and Tamil Nadu are also expected to see rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds on different days.
Overall, the mixed weather conditions across the country mean travelers should stay updated and plan carefully.
