If you were planning to submit a PF claim today, you may have to wait a little longer.

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has extended the suspension of its online claim services by one more day as it continues its system migration and database upgrade.

The EPFO portal will remain unavailable for online claim-related services until 11:59 pm on July 1, 2026.

Services are now expected to resume from 12:00 am on July 2, 2026.

Which EPFO Services Are Unavailable?

During the maintenance period, members will not be able to submit any new online claims through the EPFO portal. This includes:

PF withdrawal claims

PF advance claims

PF account transfer requests

In addition, online claim processing will also remain suspended.

Any claims submitted before the migration began will be processed only after the upgraded system becomes operational.

Why Has EPFO Extended the Downtime?

According to EPFO, the extra time is needed to complete its database consolidation and software upgrade.

The organisation says the upgrade will help make its digital services faster, more secure and more reliable.

Once the migration is complete, members can expect quicker claim processing, improved security and a better overall experience while using EPFO’s online services.

EPFO has advised subscribers to postpone non-urgent transactions until the services are restored.

The organisation has also apologised for the inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption.

Earlier Maintenance Schedule

Earlier, EPFO had announced that online claim submission and processing services would remain unavailable from 12:00 am on June 26 to 11:59 pm on June 30.

However, as the migration work is still in progress, the suspension has now been extended by one additional day.

Subscribers should wait until July 2 before attempting to submit or track online claims through the EPFO portal.
