Complete FASTag KYC Online by 29th February to Avoid Disruption

With only two days left, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Fastag customers are urged to swiftly update their Fastag KYC online before the approaching deadline of 29th February 2024.

Previously set for 31st January, this extension allows users to ensure compliance conveniently through online channels.

Understanding FASTag:

FASTag is a modern toll collection system implemented by NHAI, streamlining toll payments on highways and enhancing vehicle monitoring.

Equipped with RFID technology, FASTag enables automatic toll deduction from linked bank accounts or prepaid cards, ensuring seamless passage through toll plazas.

Online KYC Procedure:

  1. Access Fastag Website: Visit the Fastag portal associated with your bank.
  2. Login and Verification: Log in using your registered mobile number and enter the OTP received.
  3. KYC Update: Navigate to the ‘My Profile’ section and select the ‘KYC’ tab. Fill in the required information and submit the form for processing.

RC of the vehicle

Valid ID proof (e.g., Passport, Voter ID, Aadhar Card, etc.)

Checking Fastag Status:

  1. Visit Official Portal: Go to fastag.ihmcl.com.
  2. Login and Verification: Log in using your registered mobile number and OTP.
  3. Check KYC Status: Navigate to the ‘My Profile’ section and select ‘KYC Status’ to view the current status of your KYC verification.

Offline KYC Option:

Alternatively, customers can complete KYC offline by visiting the branch of the bank that issued their FASTag.

Upon submission of the KYC form and required documents, the bank will verify the details and update the FASTag accordingly.
