Young people in Bihar now have a great opportunity to gain work experience while earning a monthly stipend.
Under the Chief Minister’s Pratigya (Promise) Scheme, eligible candidates can do internships with government, private, and non-government organizations.
Apart from valuable work experience, selected candidates will also receive financial support from the Bihar government and a certificate after completing the internship.
Who Can Apply?
The Bihar Education Department has asked officials to ensure that more young people benefit from the scheme.
Candidates aged 18 to 28 years can apply for internships under the Chief Minister’s Pratigya Scheme.
The internship duration can range from 3 months to 12 months, depending on the opportunity.
After successfully completing the internship, participants will receive an official government certificate, which can help in future job opportunities.
Monthly Stipend Under the Scheme
The amount you receive depends on your educational qualification:
₹4,000 per month for skill-trained candidates who have passed Class 12.
₹5,000 per month for ITI-qualified candidates.
₹6,000 per month for graduates and postgraduates.
The scheme also provides extra financial support in certain cases:
₹2,000 per month for up to 3 months if the internship is outside your home district.
₹5,000 per month extra if the internship is with a company located outside Bihar.
With these additional benefits, the total monthly support can go up to ₹11,000 for eligible candidates.

To apply, candidates must first register on the CM Pratigya Yojana portal.

Click on Candidate Registration.
Fill in the required details and create your login ID.
Log in using your registered email ID and password.
Browse available internship opportunities and apply for the ones that match your qualifications.
How to Find Internship Opportunities
The portal also allows candidates to search for internships easily.
Go to the Explore Opportunities section and select your state, sector, age group, and gender.
The portal will display companies that are currently offering internships.
After logging in, you can view complete details about each opportunity and submit your application directly through the portal.
