Bandhan Bank credit cards have entered the Indian market with four new Mastercard-powered variants aimed at different spending needs.

The new range includes Sparks, Ignite, Flare and Lumina, covering everyday shopping, travel, dining and premium lifestyle benefits.

The launch marks Bandhan Bank’s entry into the credit card segment as the lender expands beyond its traditional deposit and lending businesses.

Bandhan Bank Credit Cards Offer Different Benefits

The four cards have been designed for different types of customers.

Sparks is focused mainly on everyday shopping, while Ignite combines shopping, travel and dining benefits.

Flare is positioned as a travel and lifestyle card, offering airport, entertainment, dining and golf-related benefits.

Lumina sits at the premium end of the new portfolio, with features aimed at customers seeking enhanced travel and lifestyle privileges.

Customers can apply for the cards through a digital-first process.

Applications will also be accepted through Bandhan Bank’s branch network.

Sparks and Ignite Focus on Everyday Spending

Sparks is designed for customers who regularly spend on household and retail purchases.

It offers accelerated rewards on grocery and apparel spending, along with a welcome benefit, domestic airport lounge access, entertainment offers, fuel surcharge waiver and EMI-related cashback benefits.

Ignite offers a wider mix of rewards for customers whose spending includes grocery and travel.

It also comes with welcome and milestone benefits, domestic and international airport lounge access and dining privileges through EazyDiner.

The difference between the two cards is mainly their intended spending profile, with Ignite offering more travel and lifestyle-oriented benefits than Sparks.

Flare and Lumina Target Travel and Lifestyle Users

Flare is aimed at customers who value travel and lifestyle benefits.

It offers an Amazon Pay voucher as a welcome benefit, along with domestic and international airport lounge access.

The card also provides entertainment and dining benefits through BookMyShow and EazyDiner, as well as golf privileges.

This makes it more focused on travel and leisure than everyday shopping rewards.

Lumina is Bandhan Bank’s premium offering among the four new cards.

It provides rewards on international spending and includes an Oberoi gift voucher as a welcome benefit.

The card also offers domestic and international airport lounge access, concierge services and airport meet-and-greet facilities.

Dining, entertainment and golf benefits are also part of the premium offering.

What Bandhan Bank’s New Card Range Offers

The new portfolio gives customers four options based on their spending patterns. Sparks focuses on everyday purchases, Ignite combines shopping and travel, Flare targets travel and lifestyle spending, while Lumina is designed for premium users.

Bandhan Bank credit cards are being introduced in partnership with Mastercard, giving the lender a new product category as it expands its retail banking offerings.
