  1. Visit the official IRCTC website: IRCTC Website.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Navigate to the “Book Ticket” section.
  4. Cancel the ticket from this section.
  5. Head to the “File Ticket Deposit Receipt” in the Service tab.
  6. On the new webpage, click on “File TDR” under the “My Transactions” tab.

If you prefer using the IRCTC Rail Connect app, here’s how you can file a TDR:

  1. Open the IRCTC Rail Connect app.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Choose your train.
  4. Click on “My Bookings.”

  6. Click on the three-dot menu button.
  7. Choose “Cancel” from the options.
  8. Return to the main dashboard of the train page.
  9. Click on “File TDR.”
