- Visit the official IRCTC website: IRCTC Website.
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to the “Book Ticket” section.
- Cancel the ticket from this section.
- Head to the “File Ticket Deposit Receipt” in the Service tab.
- On the new webpage, click on “File TDR” under the “My Transactions” tab.
Complete the TDR filing and submission process.

If you prefer using the IRCTC Rail Connect app, here’s how you can file a TDR:
- Open the IRCTC Rail Connect app.
- Log in to your account.
- Choose your train.
