State Bank of India (SBI) has recently rolled out a special feature to enhance customer convenience.
Now, SBI customers can withdraw cash from any ATM that supports UPI QR Cash functionality.
With this new facility, SBI has made cardless cash withdrawal more accessible and user-friendly.
The bank has unveiled an upgraded version of its YONO App, which includes the Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) feature.
Through the implementation of ‘UPI QR Cash’, users can generate a QR code on the ATM screen and easily withdraw cash by scanning and paying using their UPI application.
This streamlined process eliminates the need to enter a PIN or physically handle a debit card, thereby enhancing security and reducing the risk of fraudulent activities.
Furthermore, SBI Chairman, Dinesh Khara, recently inaugurated 34 Transaction Banking Hubs across the country’s top 21 district centers.
These hubs offer comprehensive solutions for various transaction, payment, and collection requirements, all in one convenient location.
During the launch, Khara emphasized the bank’s commitment to meeting customer expectations and delivering a seamless and enjoyable digital experience through the revamped YONO app.
The ultimate goal is to make the mission ‘YONO for Every Indian’ a reality.
Since its inception in 2017, the YONO app has garnered over 60 million registered users.
By introducing these customer-centric initiatives and embracing technological advancements,
SBI continues to redefine banking services and ensure a hassle-free experience for its customers nationwide.
