Customers can activate the roaming pack when they actually need it. On family postpaid plans, every eligible SIM gets one free international roaming trip annually.

The family plan for two SIMs costs Rs 749, while the three-SIM plan is priced at Rs 1,049.

For four SIMs, the revised plans are priced at Rs 1,249 and Rs 1,449, depending on the plan.

The five-SIM family plan costs Rs 1,799 per month.

The plans continue to offer benefits such as unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud protection, and entertainment and cloud-storage subscriptions, depending on the selected plan.

Existing Airtel Customers Will Be Migrated

The revised plans are effective from October 8, 2026.

Existing Airtel postpaid customers will be moved to the nearest higher plan within one month of the new plans coming into effect.

The company has also said customers can upgrade to the new plans through the Airtel App or by visiting an Airtel Store.

The annual international roaming benefit could make the higher rental more relevant for customers who travel abroad.

However, customers who do not use international roaming will need to consider the higher monthly cost when deciding whether the revised benefits suit their usage.
