Hyderabad Metro bus common pass has been launched for commuters who use Hyderabad Metro and eligible TGSRTC city buses, allowing passengers to travel across both public transport networks with a single card.

The new common pass is available in two options: a one-day pass priced at Rs 400 and a monthly pass costing Rs 8,500. A refundable security deposit of Rs 100 is charged separately for the card.

Hyderabad Metro bus common pass Cost Details

For a one-day pass, passengers need to pay Rs 500 initially, including the Rs 400 travel value and the Rs 100 security deposit.

The pass is valid only for the calendar day on which it is purchased or recharged.

The monthly option has a pass value of Rs 8,500.

Including the Rs 100 refundable security deposit, the initial payment comes to Rs 8,600, and the pass remains valid for 30 calendar days.

The one-day and monthly categories are non-interchangeable.

This means passengers cannot convert one type of pass into the other after purchase.

Where Can the Common Pass Be Used?

The common pass allows unlimited travel on Hyderabad Metro and eligible TGSRTC city bus services operating within the Outer Ring Road limits.

However, Pushpak bus services are excluded from the unlimited travel facility.

Pass usage is also subject to the operating hours and applicable rules of the respective transport services.

For regular commuters who frequently combine Metro and bus journeys, the integrated card removes the need to use separate passes for the two transport networks.

How to Buy and Recharge the Pass

Passengers can purchase and recharge the common pass at Hyderabad Metro Rail station ticketing counters.

The card is issued as a physical card and can be used after purchase or recharge, subject to the required ticketing and network systems being available.

The Rs 100 security deposit is refundable when the card is returned in working and physically undamaged condition, subject to the applicable return process.

Passengers should keep the card safely because a lost or stolen card is not eligible for a refund or adjustment.

The pass value itself is also non-refundable.

 What Commuters Should Know

The Hyderabad Metro bus common pass is intended to make travel between Metro and city bus services more convenient by bringing the two networks under a single pass.

The monthly pass can also be recharged before the existing validity period ends.

When an advance recharge is made, the new 30-day validity begins after the current validity period expires.

The launch brings Hyderabad Metro and TGSRTC services together through an integrated travel option, giving commuters another way to combine the two modes of public transport for city journeys.
