BSNL broadband plans are offering 150Mbps internet speed with high-speed data limits, free landline calling and entertainment benefits.
Two plans priced at ₹799 and ₹849 per month are available for users looking for broadband and TV benefits in one connection.
The ₹999 broadband plan from Jio also offers 150Mbps speed along with unlimited data and multiple OTT subscriptions. Here is a comparison of the three plans.
BSNL ₹799 Broadband Plan
The BSNL Fibre TB plan is priced at ₹799 per month and provides internet speeds of up to 150Mbps. Users can get up to 4000GB of data at the plan’s regular speed.
After the 4000GB data limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 10Mbps. The plan also includes a free landline connection with unlimited calling, although customers need to purchase the landline device themselves.
BSNL also provides IFTV with more than 500 free-to-air channels under this plan.
Customers choosing a six-month one-time payment option have to pay ₹4,793, while the 12-month option is priced at ₹8,390.
BSNL ₹849 Plan With OTT Benefits
The BSNL Fibre Value Plus OTT plan costs ₹849 per month. It also offers internet speeds of up to 150Mbps, but the data limit is higher at 5000GB.
Once the 5000GB high-speed data limit is exhausted, the internet speed drops to 10Mbps. The plan also comes with a free landline connection and unlimited calling, while the landline device has to be purchased by the customer.
Subscribers also get IFTV access to more than 500 free-to-air channels.
For users opting for a six-month one-time payment, the charge is ₹5,094. The 12-month one-time payment option costs ₹10,188.
The OTT benefit allows customers to choose any two packs. These include JioHotstar under Pack-1, ZEE5 under Pack-2, and a group of services including Hungama, Lionsgate, ShemarooMe and EpicOn under Pack-3.
Jio ₹999 Broadband Plan
Jio’s ₹999 broadband plan offers 150Mbps speed with unlimited data. The monthly price is ₹999, with 18% GST applicable separately.
The plan includes a free landline connection with unlimited calling, while the customer needs to purchase the landline device. It also provides access to more than 1000 TV channels.
Jio’s plan comes with around 13 OTT platforms. These include Amazon Prime Lite, JioHotstar, Sony Liv, ZEE5, Sun NXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, TimesPlay, TarangPlus, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe and ETV Win.
The Amazon Prime Lite benefit is available for two years. The plan can be taken for three, six or 12 months.
BSNL and Jio Plan Comparison
The BSNL ₹799 plan provides 150Mbps speed and up to 4000GB data, while the ₹849 plan increases the data limit to 5000GB and adds OTT benefits.
Jio’s ₹999 plan also offers 150Mbps speed, but it provides unlimited data along with access to more than 1000 TV channels and multiple OTT platforms.
