Indian Railways has announced an 8-night, 9-day Japan tour package from Mumbai.
The trip will start on October 25 and end on November 3, covering some of Japan’s most popular attractions.
Travellers will fly from Mumbai to Tokyo and explore the country’s famous temples, shopping areas, technology hubs and iconic city sights.

The journey will begin at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai.
Travellers will assemble at the airport and board Air India flight AI-356 at 4:50 pm for Haneda Airport in Tokyo.
The flight will be a direct overnight journey, allowing passengers to reach Tokyo without a stopover.
After arriving in Tokyo, a dedicated guide will meet the group at the airport.
Travellers will then have a welcome brunch at a local Indian restaurant before starting their sightseeing.
First Day: Digital Art, Parks and Tokyo’s Famous Sights
The first day in Tokyo will include a visit to TeamLab Planets, a popular immersive digital art experience.
The attraction combines technology, art and interactive installations, making it one of Tokyo’s unique experiences.
After that, travellers will visit Ueno Park, one of the city’s well-known historic and cultural spots.
The day will end with hotel check-in followed by dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Day Two: Temples, Skytree and Shibuya Crossing
The second day will begin with breakfast at the hotel before travellers head out to explore more of Tokyo.
The first stop will be Asakusa, home to the famous Senso-ji Temple and the busy Nakamise Dori shopping street.
Travellers will then head to the Tokyo Skytree, where they can enjoy wide views of the Tokyo skyline from high above the city.
After lunch at an Indian restaurant, the tour will continue toward Akihabara.
Known for anime, gaming, electronics and Japanese pop culture, Akihabara is one of Tokyo’s most famous districts.
The day will finish with a visit to Shibuya Crossing, one of the most recognisable spots in Tokyo.
