There is fresh news for hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses. Government oil companies have increased the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder from today.
In Delhi, the price has gone up by ₹9.50, taking the new rate to ₹2,747.50.
However, there is good news for households. The price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has not changed and remains the same.
New Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices
The latest prices of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in major cities are:
Delhi: ₹2,747.50 (up from ₹2,738)
Mumbai: ₹2,701 (up from ₹2,691)
Chennai: ₹2,916.50 (up from ₹2,906)
These cylinders are mainly used by hotels, restaurants, dhabas, caterers, and other commercial businesses.
Price Had Fallen Last Month
The latest increase comes just one month after a major price cut. On August 1, the price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder was reduced by around ₹209.
Earlier, another cut of ₹183.50 was announced on July 1. Despite these reductions, prices have once again started moving higher.
Commercial LPG Prices Have Risen Sharply This Year
Commercial LPG cylinder prices have seen large fluctuations in 2026.
The price was ₹1,580.50 in Delhi on December 1 last year. It kept increasing through the year, with multiple hikes between January and June. The biggest jump came in May, when the price crossed ₹3,000 per cylinder.
Although prices were reduced in July and August, the latest hike has pushed rates up once again.
No Change in Domestic LPG Cylinder Price
There is no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder used in homes. The last revision was made on June 7, 2026.
Current domestic LPG prices are:
Delhi: ₹942
Mumbai: ₹941.50
Kolkata: ₹968
Chennai: ₹957.50
So, while commercial users will have to pay more from today, household LPG consumers will continue to pay the same price for now.
