BSNL has announced a special Independence Day offer for its prepaid users.
Under this limited-time deal, customers will get 47 extra days of validity on the company’s ₹2,399 annual recharge plan. This increases the total validity from 365 days to 412 days.
The company shared the announcement through its official X account. This offer is available until September 12, 2026.

The ₹2,399 prepaid plan comes with several benefits for users. Along with the extra 47 days of validity, the plan includes:
Unlimited voice calling across India
Free national roaming
2GB high-speed data per day
100 SMS per day
A total of 94GB extra data and 4,700 additional SMS during the extended validity period
With the new offer, users can enjoy all these benefits for 412 days instead of the usual 365 days.
BSNL Freedom Pack Available at a Discount
Last month, BSNL also introduced its Freedom Offer for OTT lovers. Under this offer, users can buy the Freedom Pack for ₹150 instead of its regular price of ₹199, saving ₹49.

This offer is valid from July 23 to August 22, 2026.
BSNL Gets Ready for 5G
BSNL is also moving closer to launching its 5G services. The company’s newly installed 4G towers are already 5G-ready, allowing for a smoother transition once the service is rolled out.
According to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), BSNL plans to install 2 lakh new 4G mobile towers across the country.
The company is also working on an integrated customer support system to improve user experience.
