Aadhaar has issued an important alert for people who use its online services. If you have any Aadhaar-related work pending, make sure to finish it before 7:00 PM on July 25.
The Aadhaar system will undergo scheduled maintenance, which means all online services will be temporarily unavailable.
Aadhaar Online Services Will Be Unavailable
According to the official notification, Aadhaar’s online services will remain closed from 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, until 9:00 AM on Sunday, July 26.
During this period, users will not be able to access services through either the Aadhaar mobile app or the official website. Any online request or update will have to wait until the maintenance work is completed.
What You Can Do with the Aadhaar Mobile App
The Aadhaar mobile app offers several useful services without visiting an Aadhaar center. Through the app, users can:
Download their Aadhaar.
Share Aadhaar details securely.
Lock or unlock biometric authentication.
Update details such as address and email ID.
Download offline eKYC.
Share contact information using QR codes.
Find the nearest Aadhaar center.
Book an appointment for Aadhaar services.
Manage Aadhaar for Your Family
The Aadhaar mobile app also lets users manage Aadhaar details for family members. You can add up to five family members and access eligible services for all of them from a single app.

Most Aadhaar services available on the mobile app can also be accessed through the official website.
Users can download Aadhaar, update eligible details, book appointments, order a PVC Aadhaar card, and schedule biometric update appointments.
If you need to use any of these services, it is best to complete them before the maintenance window begins at 7:00 PM on July 25.
