Meetings of companies, cooperative societies, clubs, and other organisations have also been exempted, provided they follow the applicable rules.
Can You Organise an Event?
Yes. Organisers who wish to hold a public gathering or procession during the restricted period can apply for permission.
Applications must be submitted to the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) or the competent authority.
Permission will be granted only after reviewing the security situation.
Police have also warned that anyone violating the prohibitory orders may face legal action under the relevant laws.
