Apple has once again increased prices for its users. After recently raising the prices of select iPads and MacBooks, the company has now made its Apple Music and Apple One subscription plans more expensive.
The latest price hike means users in India will have to pay more every month to continue using these services.
Why Did Apple Increase Subscription Prices?
According to Apple, the cost of music licensing has gone up over time. Because of this, the company has revised the prices of Apple Music and Apple One plans.
Apple says users will also get access to additional features with the updated subscription plans, although the company has not highlighted all the new additions in detail.
Apple One Plans Get Costlier
Apple has also increased the prices of its Apple One bundle, which combines multiple Apple services into a single subscription. These include Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, and Apple Fitness+.
Here are the new monthly prices:
Individual Plan: ₹195
Family Plan: ₹295
Premier Plan: ₹995
Apple is not the only company raising subscription prices. Spotify has also increased the prices of its streaming plans in several countries, including the US.
Apple Music Monthly Plans Revised
Apple Music subscribers will also have to pay more from now on. The company has increased the prices of its major subscription plans.
The revised monthly prices are:
Individual Plan: ₹119 to ₹139
Family Plan: ₹179 to ₹229
Student Plan: ₹59 to ₹69
The price hike applies to the most popular Apple Music plans used by customers.
More Price Hikes May Follow
Reports suggest that other streaming services could also increase their subscription prices in the coming months.
For now, Apple users in India will need to spend more each month if they want to continue enjoying Apple Music and Apple One services.
