Travelling on Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses has become more expensive.
The State Transport Authority has approved a 13.56% increase in bus fares, and the revised ticket prices came into effect on July 18.
The fare hike applies to most MSRTC bus services across the state and is aimed at helping the corporation manage rising operating costs.

However, there is some relief for premium passengers. AC Shivneri bus services have been excluded from the latest fare revision, meaning their ticket prices remain unchanged.
