Passengers using Noida International Airport may now have fewer travel options.

After flights to Navi Mumbai and Chandigarh were suspended, the airport has now reduced its Jodhpur flight service as well.

Earlier, flights between Noida and Jodhpur operated every day. Now, the service is available only on alternate days.

Number of Flights Continues to Fall

Noida International Airport began operations on June 15, and from July 1, flights were available to 17 cities.

However, the number of destinations has been shrinking over the past few weeks.

Last week, Akasa Air temporarily suspended its flights to Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru, while IndiGo stopped operating flights to Chandigarh.

Now, IndiGo has also reduced the frequency of its Jodhpur service.

Jodhpur Flights Now Operate on Alternate Days

According to the Noida International Airport website, there was no flight to Jodhpur on Thursday.

The next scheduled flight was listed for Friday at 2:55 PM.

Similarly, passengers will get a flight on Sunday, while Saturday will have no service on this route.

This is a major change from IndiGo’s original schedule, which had promised daily flights to Jodhpur after July 1.

Only 14 Cities Currently Connected

Airport officials said that flights were operating to only 14 cities on Thursday, down from the earlier 17 destinations.

Among these, Akasa Air operated two flights to Mumbai, while IndiGo handled services to the remaining destinations.

The gradual reduction in flights has raised concerns among passengers, especially those who were expecting more connectivity from the newly opened Noida International Airport.
