Motorola has launched its new premium smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70 Max, in India.
The latest addition to the Edge 70 series comes with a massive 7,100mAh battery, a smooth 144Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon flagship processor,
and AI-powered features. The company is also focusing on durability, fast charging, and powerful cameras to attract buyers in the premium smartphone segment.
Big Battery, Powerful Performance
The Motorola Edge 70 Max features a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection for added durability.
The phone has an aluminum frame and comes with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, making it more resistant to everyday wear and tough conditions.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and offers up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage.
To keep the phone cool during gaming and heavy use, Motorola has included a 5,500mm vapor chamber cooling system with liquid metal thermal gel.
One of the biggest highlights is the 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging, 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging.
Camera and Software Features
For photography, the phone includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera that also works as a macro camera, and a 32MP front camera capable of recording 4K videos.
The smartphone runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UX interface. Motorola has promised three years of Android OS updates and five years of security updates.
