Apple’s next-generation iPhone lineup could bring some of the biggest upgrades in recent years.
According to recent leaks, the company is preparing to launch the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first-ever foldable iPhone in 2026.
While Apple has not officially confirmed any details, several reports suggest major improvements in performance, cameras, and display technology.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max May Get Powerful A20 Pro Chip
If recent leaks are accurate, both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be powered by Apple’s upcoming A20 Pro processor.
The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display, while the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max could come with a 6.9-inch screen.
In terms of cameras, both models are rumored to include a triple 48MP rear camera setup.
This could include a primary sensor, an ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, Apple may offer a 24MP front-facing camera on both devices.
Apple’s First Foldable iPhone Could Arrive as ‘iPhone Ultra’
Alongside the Pro models, Apple is also rumored to introduce its first foldable smartphone, which could be called the iPhone Ultra.
According to leaks, the device may feature a large 7.8-inch foldable inner display and a 5.5-inch cover screen. It is expected to use the same A20 Pro chipset and could offer 12GB RAM with storage options of up to 1TB.
For photography, the foldable iPhone may include a 48MP primary camera and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. A 24MP front camera is also expected for selfies and video calls.
Expected Price of iPhone 18 Series
Reports suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro could start at around ₹1,49,000, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max may carry a starting price of approximately ₹1,64,000.
Meanwhile, Apple’s foldable iPhone Ultra is rumored to launch at a premium price of around ₹2,19,990. However, Apple has not officially announced the pricing of any of these devices.
When Could Apple Launch These iPhones?
According to the latest report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple could hold its annual iPhone launch event on September 8 or September 9.
Since Labor Day in the United States falls on September 7, industry experts believe Apple is more likely to choose September 9 for its keynote event.
