PM Kisan 23rd Installment Not Received? (Check Reasons)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on June 20.

While millions of farmers received ₹2,000 in their bank accounts, many others were left disappointed as the payment did not reach them.

According to government data, around 12 crore farmers are registered under the PM-KISAN scheme. However, only 9.44 crore farmers received the latest installment.

This means more than 2 crore farmers are still waiting for their payment.

Many farmers are now worried about whether they will receive future installments and what steps they need to take to fix the issue.

Why Did Some Farmers Not Receive the 23rd Installment?

Farmers may have missed the payment due to one or more of the following reasons:

e-KYC not completed

Aadhaar not linked with the bank account

Land records not verified

Eligibility verification still pending

Multiple members of the same family receiving benefits

If any of these issues exist, the installment may be delayed or stopped until the records are corrected.

Check Your PM Kisan Status Online

Farmers can easily check their payment status through the PM-KISAN portal.

Follow these steps:

Visit the PM-KISAN website.

Click on the “Know Your Status” option.

Enter your registration number.

Verify using the OTP sent to your mobile number.

This will show whether the installment has been released, withheld, or is under verification.

What If Your Status Shows “Withheld” or “Under Verification”?

If your previous installments were received but the latest status shows:

Withheld

Under Verification

Eligibility Under Review

then you should complete the required verification process immediately.

Failing to update your details may not only delay the 23rd installment but could also affect future payments under the scheme.

Where to Get Help?

Farmers can use the Kisan eMitra chatbot available on the PM-KISAN portal or the PM-KISAN mobile app for assistance.

For e-KYC, you can:

Complete OTP-based e-KYC on the PM-KISAN portal

Visit the nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) for biometric e-KYC

How to Contact PM Kisan Officials

If your issue is still not resolved, visit the PM-KISAN portal homepage and click on “Search Your Point of Contact (POC)”.

You can then:

Select Search State Nodal to get state-level contact details

Select Search District Nodal to find district-level officials

Choose your state and district, then submit the details. You will see the officer’s phone number and email address, which you can use to seek help regarding your installment.

Complete Verification Soon

Farmers who have not received the 23rd installment should check their status as soon as possible and complete any pending verification. Taking quick action can help ensure that future PM-KISAN payments are not affected.
