Students who scored good marks in Bihar Board Class 10 and 12 exams now have a great chance to receive financial help from the Bihar government.
Applications for the Chief Minister’s Boys and Girls Incentive Scheme started on May 25, 2026.
Eligible students can now apply online through the Medhasoft portal. The scheme aims to support students financially and encourage higher education.
Who Will Get Scholarship Benefits?
Under this scheme, students who pass with good marks in Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) will receive incentive money from the Bihar government.
Students who pass Class 10 with first division will get Rs 10,000. SC and ST students who pass with second division will also receive financial support of Rs 8,000.
For Intermediate students, scholarships are mainly given to girls. SC and ST girls who pass with first division will receive Rs 15,000. Those who pass with second division will get Rs 10,000 as incentive support.

After login, students must fill in important details such as:
Name
Marks
Bank account number
Bank branch details
Aadhaar number
Scholarship Money Will Come Through DBT
The incentive amount will be transferred directly to students’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Students should keep these important points in mind:
The bank account must belong to the student only
Aadhaar must be linked with the bank account
The account should be in a nationalized bank, approved private bank, or India Post Payments Bank located in Bihar
Students are advised to complete the registration process carefully to avoid any problems while receiving the scholarship amount.
