If you use an ICICI Bank debit card, there are some important updates for you. The bank has changed several benefits

Some changes will benefit customers, while others may increase your expenses.

Movie Ticket Discount From July 2026

ICICI Bank has introduced a new movie ticket benefit for debit card users. From July 2026, customers booking tickets through BookMyShow can get up to ₹125 discount every month.

Foreign Transaction Charges Become Costlier

The bank has also increased its Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) charges from June 2026.

Earlier, customers had to pay a 1% fee on certain foreign-related rupee transactions. Now, this charge has been increased to 3.50%.

This means that for every ₹100 transaction, customers may now pay ₹3.50 as DCC charges. This fee usually applies when transactions involve foreign companies in India or abroad.

Annual Debit Card Fee Increased

ICICI Bank has also increased the annual fee for the Expressions Debit Card.

The yearly fee has now gone up from ₹599 to ₹749. Customers are advised to carefully read the bank’s terms and conditions for complete details about the revised charges.

ICICI Bank Warns Customers About New Parcel Scam

Apart from the fee changes, ICICI Bank has also issued a warning about a new online fraud targeting customers in the name of courier and parcel delivery services.

The bank said scammers are sending fake SMS messages and making calls to trick people into sharing their debit and credit card details.

How This Parcel Scam Works

In this scam, customers receive an SMS claiming that their parcel could not be delivered because the address is incomplete.

The message contains a fake link asking users to update their address details. Sometimes, fraudsters also call customers and create panic by saying the parcel will be cancelled if the address is not updated immediately.

After clicking the link, users are asked to pay a small fee of ₹25 or ₹50 using a debit or credit card.

As soon as customers enter their card number, expiry date, and CVV, the details reach the fraudsters, who later misuse the information.

How To Stay Safe From Such Frauds

Do not panic if you receive such messages or calls. Scammers usually take advantage of fear and urgency.

Never click on unknown or suspicious links sent through SMS or email. Courier companies and postal departments generally do not ask customers to update addresses through random links.

If you receive any suspicious message, contact the company directly through its official customer care number and verify the information first.

What To Do If You Become A Victim

If fraud happens, immediately report it through the official cybercrime portal and helpline.
