Budget airline IndiGo is rapidly expanding its network with over 30 new routes from Navi Mumbai International Airport.
These new flights will be launched between March 29 and April 23, connecting Navi Mumbai to several cities across India.
Some of the key destinations include Agra, Ayodhya, Kolkata, Patna, Srinagar, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam.
This move is expected to make travel easier and faster for passengers.
Better Connectivity and More Flights
With these new routes, IndiGo will operate more than 400 weekly flights from Navi Mumbai.
This will significantly improve connectivity between different parts of the country, especially for travelers looking for direct and convenient options.
The airport itself is a major project developed by Adani Airports Holdings Limited, making it one of India’s largest greenfield airports.
New Direct Flights and Gujarat Expansion
IndiGo has also started twice-daily direct flights between Bhavnagar and Navi Mumbai using ATR aircraft.
In addition, direct flights to Jamnagar will begin from April 23, 2026.
With this expansion, the airline will now connect six cities in Gujarat—Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar.
Overall, IndiGo will operate over 1,400 weekly flights to and from Gujarat, making travel in the region more accessible.
Partnership Benefits for Travelers
IndiGo has partnered with Adani Airport Holdings Limited to offer added benefits.
Under this partnership, IndiGo BluChip members can now earn rewards on duty-free shopping at airports managed by Adani Airports.
This adds extra value for frequent flyers.
Emergency Landing Handled Safely
In a separate incident, an IndiGo flight from Visakhapatnam to Delhi reported a suspected engine issue.
A full emergency was declared at Indira Gandhi International Airport, and all safety protocols were activated.
The flight, carrying 161 passengers, landed safely around 11 am.
All passengers were evacuated without any harm, highlighting the efficiency of emergency response teams.
What This Means for Passengers
IndiGo’s expansion will make flying more convenient, with more direct routes and frequent flights.
At the same time, improved airport infrastructure and safety measures ensure a smoother and more reliable travel experience.
Summary:
IndiGo is launching 30+ new routes from Navi Mumbai, boosting connectivity across India.
With more flights, new partnerships, and strong safety measures, passengers can expect faster, easier, and more rewarding travel.
