Two New Mutual Funds Open This Week for Investors

If you are planning to invest in mutual funds, this week could be very important. Starting Monday, March 23, two new New Fund Offerings (NFOs) are opening for investors. One is an index fund, and the other is a large-cap fund.

New Funds Opening This Week

Zerodha Nifty MidSmallcap400 50:50 Index Fund

The Zerodha Asset Management index fund, Zerodha Nifty MidSmallcap400 50:50 Index Fund, will open for investment on March 23, 2026.

You can start investing with just ₹100, and the unit price is ₹10. The fund will be managed by Kedarnath Mirajkar.

This fund follows the Nifty MidSmallcap 400 Index, which gives exposure to mid-cap and small-cap companies.

Close Date: April 6

Minimum Investment: ₹100

Fund Type: Index Fund (Passive)

The risk level of this fund is very high, meaning prices can go up and down significantly.

Its goal is to deliver returns similar to the index (before expenses), though small differences, called tracking error, may occur. The fund will remain open for subscription until April 6, 2026.

JioBlackRock Large Cap Fund

The JioBlackRock Large Cap Fund will open for investment on March 24, 2026. This is an active large-cap fund that focuses on investing in big, well-established companies.

The minimum investment is ₹500 for both lump sum and SIP (Systematic Investment Plan), with at least six SIP installments required.

The fund aims to create long-term wealth by mainly investing in large-cap stocks and related instruments.

Fund Type: Large Cap (Active)

The fund’s performance will be compared with the BSE 100 Index. It will be managed by Tanvi Kacheria and Sahil Chaudhary.

0–20% in debt and money market instruments

0–10% in InvITs

This fund will remain open for subscription until April 7, 2026.
