Tech company HP has launched its new HyperX Omen 15 gaming laptop in India. This is the first HyperX-branded laptop in the country.
It was introduced as part of HP’s new gaming lineup showcased at CES 2026.
The laptop is designed for users who need stable and powerful performance for high-end gaming and heavy content creation.
Display and Visual Experience
The HP HyperX Omen 15 features a 15.3-inch WQXGA IPS display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels.
The screen supports a 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and up to 500 nits peak brightness.
With a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB color coverage, the display delivers an excellent experience for gaming, video editing, and professional work.
Performance, Processor, and Cooling System
The laptop is powered by the 14th-generation Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, which has 16 cores and 24 threads.
For graphics, it comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. HP claims the laptop supports up to 170W total processor power.
To manage heat during long gaming sessions, it uses OMEN Tempest Cooling technology.
The cooling system has a reverse airflow design, which helps reduce dust buildup and keeps the laptop cooler for longer use.
The OMEN AI Unleashed Mode automatically adjusts performance and thermal settings based on usage.
Memory, Storage, and Operating System
The HP HyperX Omen 15 is equipped with 24GB DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD.
It also supports storage expansion through dual M.2 slots.
The laptop runs on Windows 11 Home.
Keyboard, Camera, and Gaming Features
For gamers, the laptop includes a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad, 4-zone RGB backlight, 26-key rollover anti-ghosting, and 8K polling rate technology for very fast response times.
For video calls and streaming, it features a 1080p Full HD HDR webcam along with dual microphones.
Connectivity, Battery, and Design
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The laptop has a 70Wh battery that supports fast charging, reaching 50% charge in around 30 minutes.
It weighs approximately 2.21 kg and comes with a premium gaming design.

The HP HyperX Omen 15 is priced starting at ₹1,49,999 in India.
It will be available in Shadow Black color and can be purchased through Flipkart and select offline retail stores.
