The emoji is clearly visible to viewers, and reactions are sent with a single tap—no extra menus or swipes are needed. This makes interactions faster and smoother.
This update gives an Instagram-like experience, encouraging audiences to react through stickers.
On WhatsApp, the stickers are visible only to the person who posted the Status, keeping reactions private and secure.
Users can choose emojis like the default heart-eyes, or others such as fire, laughter, or shock, making their Status more expressive.
Availability
The update is currently available on WhatsApp iOS beta v25.35.10.70. WhatsApp is preparing to roll it out to more iPhone users in the coming days.
