How to Change your UPI PIN on Google Pay without a Debit Card

Digital payments are now a part of daily life, and most people use UPI apps to make quick transactions.

Among all the options available, Google Pay remains one of the most popular choices because of its easy features.

One useful feature allows you to change your UPI PIN even if you don’t have your debit card with you.

If you have forgotten your UPI PIN or need to reset it urgently, Google Pay gives you a simple solution.

Change Your UPI PIN Using Aadhaar

Google Pay lets you reset your UPI PIN through Aadhaar verification.

This comes in handy when your debit card is unavailable or you cannot remember your existing PIN.

However, keep in mind that this feature depends on your bank. Not all banks support PIN generation through Aadhaar.

You can use this method only if your bank allows Aadhaar-based verification.

Step-by-Step Guide to Reset Your UPI PIN Without a Debit Card

Download and open the Google Pay app on your phone, then log in.

On the home screen, tap your profile photo at the top right.

Select the bank account for which you want to change the UPI PIN.

On the account details page, tap the option called “Forgot UPI PIN.”

If your bank supports Aadhaar verification, choose this method.

Enter the first six digits of your Aadhaar number and submit the required details.

You will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

After verifying the OTP, you can create a new UPI PIN.

Important Things to Remember

This method works only if your bank account is linked through Aadhaar in Google Pay.

Your Aadhaar must also be connected to the same mobile number that is registered with your bank.

Only then will you receive the OTP needed to reset your PIN.
