OneTicket App Launched in Mumbai for All Metro Lines (Booking Process)

Mumbai passengers can now travel across different metro lines with just one ticket, thanks to the launch of the OneTicket App.

Earlier, commuters had to buy separate tickets for each operator, but this app now makes travel seamless across the city’s metro network.

How the OneTicket App Works

The app was first tested on Metro-3 in June 2025 using QR code-based ticketing, making entry and travel smoother.

Mumbai’s metro currently covers 70 km but is expected to grow to 340 km, creating the need for a unified ticket system.

To address this, SequelString, with support from Mumbai Metro One, introduced the app.

According to officials, “The app is built on ONDC’s digital infrastructure, which connects commuter needs to metro services seamlessly.”

  2. Select your source and destination stations.

  3. Choose the number of tickets (up to 4).

  4. Pay via UPI, debit card, or credit card.
