How to download and use RailOne app

Indian Railways has introduced its super app RailOne, which combines multiple rail-related services in one platform.

The app was launched a few months ago to make ticket booking and other railway facilities easier, especially during the festive season when travel demand is high.

How to Download and Register

The RailOne app is available on both Android and iOS.

Android users can download it from the Google Play Store.

iPhone users can get it from the Apple App Store.

After installation, the app will ask for necessary permissions such as location and notifications.

Existing IRCTC users: Log in using your IRCTC username and password.

New users: Register with a mobile number and complete the OTP verification process.

How to Book Tickets

Reserved Tickets

Log in to the app and select “Book Tickets”.

Choose “Reserved” and enter the source, destination, date, and class.

The app will show available trains, seats, and fares.

Select a train, enter passenger details, and make payment via UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking.

The ticket will appear in the “My Bookings” section.

Unreserved Tickets

Choose “Unreserved Ticket”, enter travel details, and pay online.

A QR-based digital ticket will be generated and stored in the app.

Platform Tickets

Select your station, fill in details, and pay online.

A QR digital platform ticket will be saved in the app.

Manage Your Bookings

All tickets—reserved, unreserved, and platform—are saved in the “My Bookings” section.

Users can view upcoming and past tickets.

Tickets can also be canceled directly from the app.

With RailOne, Indian Railways aims to offer a single, user-friendly app for both frequent and occasional travelers, making train journeys smoother and more convenient.
