Air India express adds new Route

Tata Group-led airline Air India Express has announced a new daily direct flight service between Bengaluru and Bangkok, starting September 18.

According to the company’s statement (as reported by PTI), the route has been introduced to cater to the upcoming festival and holiday season, providing passengers from Bengaluru and nearby areas with a convenient travel option to Thailand.

Special Introductory Fares

To mark the launch, Air India Express has rolled out introductory fares:

Bengaluru to Bangkok one-way fare: ₹9,000

Bangkok to Bengaluru one-way fare: ₹8,850

Round-trip fares starting at ₹16,800

Bookings are now open on the airline’s official website, mobile app, and leading travel portals.

Flight Timings and Benefits

Bengaluru → Bangkok: Departs daily at 11:00 AM (IST), arrives at 4:45 PM (IST)

Bangkok → Bengaluru: Departs daily at 5:45 PM (IST), arrives at 8:30 PM (IST)

This new direct service is expected to benefit tourists, families, business travelers, and holiday-goers, offering both time-saving convenience and affordability.

Other New Routes and Achievements

Earlier this week, Air India Express also launched a direct flight between Dehradun and Bengaluru, providing greater convenience for youth, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, students, and tourists in Uttarakhand.

Additionally, the airline joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) last month, becoming the fourth Indian airline to be part of the global body, which represents about 350 airlines managing 80% of global air traffic.
