The bank has changed the address of its official website to https://bankofbaroda.bank.in
This step has been taken under the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to make digital banking more secure and reliable.
Why Was the Change Made?
On April 22, 2025, the RBI issued a circular directing Indian banks to use a special “.bank.in” internet domain.
The aim is to reduce cybersecurity risks, prevent frauds like phishing, and build customer trust.
Accordingly, Bank of Baroda has changed its website from www.bankofbaroda.in to https://bankofbaroda.bank.in
RBI has also given all banks time until October 31, 2025, to shift their websites to the new domain.
What Customers Should Do
Bank of Baroda has officially confirmed this change and shifted its old website to the new, secure domain.
Customers are now advised to use only https://bankofbaroda.bank.in for online banking services and related information.
All branches and offices of the bank have also been instructed to inform customers about this update and guide them in using the new domain.
